The Red Hot Silly Peppers come at you from the
deepest wilds of the fenland hills. Imitators with the
charm and sex appeal of the original band, We
attempt to give people a slice of the funkmeisters
finest moments and provide fans with the
excitement, fun and emotion of the Chili Pepper's
live Shows.
This foursome was born from a love of all things
Red and Hot. Each member brings their knowledge
and passion for the music and infuse it with their
own personality.
Though never able to fill the Real Peppers shoes,
we felt our attempt to recreate their soul in this little
corner of the UK might make the world a slightly
brighter place.
Only conceived since the Summer of 08 we are still
finding our feet and funk, though hopefully are
looking for every opportunity to hone our skills and
act.
Meet the Band:
Jon- Our toned and tattooed front man brings the
spirit of Antoin the Swan to the stage. His voice
makes love to the melodies while also providing
enough freaky styley to funk the house with his raps.
Stuart - the man behind the strings likes to lick alot.
He has made a point of nailing the sound of the Fru
and though his hair may never be that long, his
passion for providing the right riffs at the right time
make up for this ten fold.
Ben - the bouncy bassman brings Flea to life with
his ability to create the funked up backbone of the
band's sound. Though not the most budding of
naturists, Ben makes such groin tingling grooves,
even if he wont get naked, the audience soon will be!
Matt - The powerhouse of the band, our skin
thumping friend is just as solid as the Chad. His
beats hit right to the core and fuels the fire of the
funky monks sound. He even wants a boiler suit!
