Having been tired previous original punk/indie bands , Matt decided
to form a Metal band. This would need to be a band with great
quality musicians with a similar outlook. Matt was keen to aim for the
more 'challenging' end of things.
Summer 2004
Matt knew of Rob (lead/Rhythm) for a while having crossed paths
when previously searching for musicians. Knowing Rob was a total
metal head made him the perfect choice to partner up to build a
band. Thankfully they had a similar outlook.
Then came the mammoth and tiring task of finding the right people to
complete the line up. We knew of the great difficulty in finding the
right people in Cambs. Especially for this genre. However we were
determined to be patient.
First came James on bass. Fairly new to the metal scene, but
appeared to have plenty of enthusiasm.
The main focus then switched to finding a vocalist. We initially tried
out one particular guy who was competent but was lacking the
enthusiasm for the style.
6 months after the start we almost simultaneously took on the
extremely capable Ben on vocals and guitar twiddling wizz Simon
(Lead/Rhythm).
So the scene was set.
We launched the band on the local scene in Jan 06 and so far have
had a string of very successful gigs.
June 06- see's the departure of James Lewis, and the introduction of
Hadyn Morgans on Bass.
John replaces Hadyn on Bass.
Brand new lineup annouced soon to join John, Simon, and Matt
Welcoming our new singer- Matt Redgrave
