2 TIERED LESSONS AVAILABLE ONE TO ONE OR PAIRS
LESSONS FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS
If you have more or less no knowledge of Electronics I can provide
tuition for you. Some basic knowledge is useful for day to day tasks.
Basic knowledge will include for example: Basic understanding of
Voltage, Current, and Power, General component knowledge-Switches,
Capacitors, Resistors, Inductors, op-amps, etc. Basic knowledge of
waveforms-Frequency, Amplitude, Phase etc. Many more subjects c an
be covered and somewhat geared towards your own needs.
General good practice in terms of wiring, appropriate tools and
soldering covered. Please note most house wiring needs to be
performed by a qualified electrical engineer.
LESSONS FOR BTEC STUDENTS
If you are working towards a BTEC certificate (ONC) then I can provide
additional tuition for you. Standard subjects covered-Electronics
(Digital/Analogue), Principles, Transmission principles,
Opto-electronics, Micro electronics (theory only) etc
All tuition is charged at my standard rate of £20/hour
ABOUT ME
For the last 5 years I have been a professional music tutor both
privately and in Schools.
I have over 18 years electronics Industry experience in Audio (lLindos
Electronics), Communications (Marconi), RF(ActiveRF), and
Test/Measurement/Comms (Tecstar Electronics).
I am also qualified to HNC in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical), and
ONC (Electronics/Communications)
